IMPORTANCE of LANGUAGE
Language is a valuable tool that used to convey one's inner ideas and feeling. It is also a way to communicate with others but it is also used to make friends, discuss and share various opinions and thoughts. Throughout history, there have been many things, situations, and events that can point to the importance of language to the people, environment, and country.
Language does not only represent a person. It is not just a vehicle for expressing one's thoughts, opinions, personal observations and values but it is a vessel that expresses aspects of a community or nation. It also represents the basic conveyance to ithers of social identity. In short, language helps to preserve the culture, art, and nationality of our country.
The National language of the Philippines which is Tagalog, is the language spoken in all corners of the country. It serve as a belt to bind the citizens so that they are one of their thoughts, dreams, and road to battle. It is difficult to imagine that no single language would provide the means for uniting the islands of the Philippines.
Although in any form, whether speaking or writing, language is the most effective way to convey thoughts and preserve the history and records of ancient Filipinos. In this instance, the current citizen will be aware of the actions taken in the past to keep it going in a positive way and to avoid any unpleasant events in the past. This will the the light to enlighten the filipinos. It will also serve as the impetus for the fulfillment of the original dreams.
Over time, language will prove to be the most important weapon for a nation to bring its people to the events, history and part of the economy. It is also the center of the people in order to push their governments to their ends.
One can sense in his own language the intensity of his emotions, the depth of his personality, the character of his work environment, the extent of culture and art, mastery of any field and reality of work. On the whole, language serves as a way for a person to become a complete person and a nation as a whole.
