            This year 2019 The National Disaster Resilience Month or The National Disaster Simultaneous Month before it celebrates the carries theme which is ‘Kahandaan sa Sakuna’t peligro sa tunay na pagbabago’.
            Accroding to report, the Philippines is among the countries with the highest likelihood of leaving home due to disaster, based on study. Exit the ‘Global Disaster Replacement Risk' study that nearly 720,000 people may be forced to  leave their home due to the impact of disaster. Additionally, the Philippines is the fifth in the country with the highest tenure of homeless people or leaving their home. This study also outlined that nearly 14 million people around the world are being displaced or forced to leave their home each year. The NDRRMC said that this study should not be ignored so the Office of Civil Defense is being conducted, especially in local government units regarding the preparation, monitory, and response of disaster. Understanding Ricardo Jalad, Executive Director of NDRRMC, needed government agencies and communities to work together is disaster preparedness and disaster so as not increase the number of displaced persons.
            Disaster are events that causes danger and harm to humans, environment. It is also an event that threatens health, safety, destroys millions of property values, kills many lives. Disasters such as storms, earthquakes, landslides,  volcanic eruptions, tsunamis, floods, and so on leave a lot damage to all of us. In these circumstances, how can we protect ourselves if we need to prepare and alert at all times?
            We all know that disaster has a huge impact, so its worrisome and scary especially if it’s a sudden attack, so we ought to be always ready everytime. Our Preparedness is very important especially to us Filipinos because our country is often affected by the effects of harmful injuries. Especially earthquake, we do not know when and where it will happen, how much it impact. The calamities are just hindrance to the progression of our country and the reduction of the effects of the calamity will ultimately be possible to the development.
            Filipinos are actually willing to create and adopt themselves to the new normal weather condition. In recent years, we have seen disasters coming more often and stronger. The truly rigid and robust rise in the country responds to this situations that tries to adapt itself to the weather and diminish the impact of disaster.
            Resilience,safety and community protection can be achieved through cooperation and public preparedness to help each other especially during emergencies and disasters. Resilience begin with awareness of the harm and threats threatening communities. But people need to learn how to protect themselves from risks and injuries.
